Reincar(Nate), Back in Action

It's been awhile since I've been able to post anything about Reincar(Nate), and have been hesitant to do so. The book has been hit with a few delays, mainly due to scheduling on both Keith's and my part. It seemed for a while that every time I said the book would be out, it got pushed back. While I have a pretty firm time frame for Reincar(Nate)'s release, I'm keeping mum for now (actually, our schedule seems more concrete than ever). I will say that Keith is hard at work on art, and I'm neck deep in revising the script and applying a few finishing touches. When it does come out, you'll see it released digitally with Viper Comics, then in print...somewhere. That's still a ball that's up in the air. What I'm leaning towards is a Kickstarter drive that would enable me to release the four collected Reincar(Nate) issue myself, but we'll see what the next few months hold. It's as good as a time as any to be a DIY creator, which is a prospect I'm excited about. But, that's a decision for another time.

For now, here's a peek at issue #2, which is looking amazing.

Quarantined T-Shirt Design

Monty recently designed a t-shirt for Quarantined, and I think it's pretty damn rad. Using old EC covers as inspiration, Monty (as usual) captures the old-school horror that is Quarantined with some really stark inks and great contrast in the "infected" eye that pops in the middle of the frame. The shirt is going to be featured (we think) at the Markosia booth at London Super Comic Convention, which is looking to be a big deal (check out the guest list and you'll see why). Markosia will be making there own splash at the convention, releasing new titles, incorporating new merchandise (such as the Quarantined t-shirt), and bringing along a stock of current titles (again, such as Quarantined). So if you're in the UK and going to the con, stop by the Markosia booth and big up some comics goods--you'll be happy you did.

Also, to note, Monty and I plan on making some of our own t-shirts based on this design, which we'll have in stock at cons and our websites this summer.

The Blurb is the Word

Here's what people a lot cooler than me are saying about Hoax Hunters:

"Hoax Hunters is a book after my own heart. In fact, I wish I had created it. Anyone who loves smart, weird, breakneck, funny, scary, inventive comics should add Hoax Hunters to their pull list without delay or be labeled a heretic."

"With Hoax Hunters, you get the whole package: engaging characters, high-octane action, and severe creepiness. It's a perfect blend of mystery, horror, and sci-fi. I'm hooked."
--Cullen Bunn, THE SIXTH GUN

"If you like  shows Destination Truth but think they could use more scarecrow astronauts and throat punches, then Hoax Hunters is the book for you: smart, funny and pure entertainment."

Check out a preview of Hoax Hunters issue #0 (out March 21) on CBR, or visit the Hoax Hunters website for more info. And please, don't forget to tell your local retailer to order Hoax Hunters and have it in stock!
