More Quarantined

I actually previewed this page a long way back, but it was with the original colors, not Lauren's redux. So, here it is again, with letters, as it will appear in the book. Enjoy!

Remember Quarantined?

That political zombie allegory coming out this year? It feels like it's been ages since I've discussed it.

Not too fret--the book is very much alive and well. We've all just been working. Monty has finished the art which, believe me, is going blow people away. Lauren and Jim are coloring and lettering, Keith is working on his beautiful covers.

While everything gets wrapped up, I figured I'd share a new page. This comes from the first issue, in what is probably one of my favorite sequences. Enjoy, and prepare yourselves for some exciting times that are just around the corner.

And, to all the people who have joined our Quarantined facebook page: big thanks, sincerely. We now have over 500 members, which amazes me.

Underworld/Rank and File Myebook

As you'll see on the right side of the page (and below), there is now an Myebook available for two shorts from Keith Burns and me. Underworld was published in Something Wicked, Rank and File in FutureQuake. Both are great anthologies who were kind enough to accept our work (I have another short forthcoming in FQ, in fact).

Hope you enjoy!

Colors, Kickstarter Countdown

If you haven't already pre-ordered the Reading With Pictures anthology over on kickstarter, less than two weeks remain to do so. My story, The Replacement Heroes In: Civic Service! is just about wrapped up. All we need are words.

In the meantime, here's a preview of page two, in glorious (and, seriously, I mean glorious) color from Chris Beckett. Chris came in and blew our minds (meaning Andy, the editorial team, and myself) with his work . He brought a vivacity to Andy's already energetic art and added some very nice depth in each of the characters. Well done Chris!
